Krista Nutter:  about me / why me?

The Short Version:  I'm a Cincinnati, Ohio-based photographer specializing in on-location and studio portraits.  Most of my work is Seniors and Sports photography (both sports portraits and action photography), contemporary beauty photography, and boudoir photography.  In my work, I strive for a style that's modern, creative, and authentic.  I'm not a volume photographer that shoots several clients a day (in fact I never shoot more than one client a day), so every client can expect my undivided attention and boutique-level service.

The Expanded Version: My extensive education and professional experience in art, design and architecture has allowed me to develop a keen eye for composition, light, color, line, shape, and other elements and principles of design.  My career in art and design has enabled me to take my photographic work to the next level - beyond a standard portrait or snapshot.  I create portraits that capture and bring out the beauty from within each subject, which can truly be described as fine art portraits.  Coupled with my years of diligent practice and participation in professional workshops and college photography courses through the college where I taught design, I have a solid technical background to add to my artistry.

I hold a Masters of Science in Architecture  from the University of Cincinnati: College of Design, Art, Architecture, and Planning (DAAP); a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design; and an Associate of Arts in Fine Art / Studio Art.

My projects have received a number of design awards and as an educator I've received awards for excellence in teaching design and architecture at the college level.  I bring the same level of quality and excellence to my photographic work.  It is my personal expectation to excel in everything I do, and to bring unparalleled customer service and a satisfying experience to each and every client
